Getting Started

Quickstart

Five minutes from registration to running and reviewing your first reusable Flow.

1. Open the app

Click Launch app, register with your email address, enter the six-digit verification code and choose a password. Models and API keys are managed by IceFold, so there is no provider setup.

2. Choose a first production

The first product screen asks what you want to make and tells you the medium and number of outputs before you choose. For the shortest tour, select Turn notes into a multilingual brief. IceFold installs its Template and opens the real Notes → Multilingual Brief Flow with a safe example already filled in.

No Scratchpad Session is created behind this screen. You can instead browse all Templates and make the first Flow you open your guide, or explicitly leave the tour with Open a blank canvas.

3. Confirm the example input

The docked First production guide points to the exact Step that needs your attention. Open the first Input Step, read or edit the supplied project update, then use ✓ Confirm & run next steps.

Confirm publishes that input. Every eligible next Step starts automatically from that explicit decision; there is no separate downstream Run click in this starter Flow.

4. Review the parallel outputs

The guide follows the live Session while IceFold creates the English and Chinese briefs in parallel. When it asks you to review the final outputs, open the result and switch its two version tabs. The guide completes only after you have opened the current result, not merely after a request was clicked.

If a longer starter pauses at an intermediate Step, compare or edit its versions and Confirm it to publish the accepted result to the remaining Steps. Select Use my own content at the end to return to the source, replace the example and repeat the same Flow.

This teaches the core control model in the product itself: Run explores one Step without approving its result for later Steps; Confirm publishes an accepted result and wakes eligible downstream work.

5. Work with content versions

Open a Step's expanded view to inspect its language or segment content versions. You can switch tabs, compare outputs, edit parameters for all or selected content versions, and rerun one without replacing the others.

Finished media and terminal text are registered in the Library, where you can search, download or reopen the source session.

6. Reuse the Flow

Return Home, select the same Flow and choose New under Sessions to start a fresh session with the next source. The Flow keeps the production method; each session keeps its own inputs, drafts, edits and outputs. That is how one good production becomes a reusable process instead of a project you duplicate.
