AI providers and plans
IceFold runs every AI step on platform-managed models. There are no provider accounts to connect and no API keys to paste — the platform holds the credentials, routes each call, and meters what you use in credits. There is nothing to configure to start generating.
How billing works
Credits pay for the compute-heavy work — AI generation and transcription, and final video rendering. The editing in between — trimming, subtitling, swapping audio — is free. Everything runs on one currency: credits, and IceFold handles provider routing, model bills, compute and orchestration.
- Free starts you with a one-time grant of 1,000 welcome credits.
- Pro adds 10,000 credits every month — enough to keep creating.
- Max — US$120: 100,000 credits every month and all Pro features, including watermark-free video exports and a 50 GiB / 25,000-file Library. Monthly only. Credits refresh monthly and do not roll over.
- Team — US$149/month: 2 editors, 100,000 shared credits every month and a 100 GiB / 50,000-file shared Library. Each additional editor is US$25/month and adds 20,000 credits. The owner pays for the subscription and every team credit pack.

Choosing a model
You don't wire up providers, but you can still steer which model runs a given Step. Every AI-driven Step starts with outcome-based recommendations such as Good Enough and Great Quality, described by what changes in the result. Specific model names remain available in the searchable advanced list. The choice is persisted per Step; leave it untouched, or choose Use platform default, and the Step follows the platform default for its medium. IceFold chooses the fulfilment provider for that model and can fail over between compatible routes.

Every plan includes Library storage: Pro has 10 GiB / 5,000 files, Max has 50 GiB / 25,000 files, and Team shares 100 GiB / 50,000 files. Extra storage is optional: US$5/month or US$50/year adds 50 GiB / 25,000 files to your selected personal or team pool. For Max, one add-on brings the total to 100 GiB / 50,000 files.
Pro, Max and Team are billed monthly. To upgrade from Pro to Max immediately, pay for a full new Max month (US$120 plus applicable taxes, shown before confirmation). Once payment succeeds, your billing cycle restarts and you receive 100,000 new credits. Unused credits from the current Pro subscription period remain valid until the new Max period ends; spent credits are not restored, and purchased packs keep their expiry dates. Downgrading from Max to Pro takes effect at the next renewal and can be cancelled before then.
