Questions before you start
Is IceFold open source?
No — the core platform is closed-source SaaS. Studio templates and example flows are public on GitHub so you can read them before signing up, but the runtime is hosted by us. There's no on-prem / self-hosted version.
Do I have to pay for AI on top of the subscription?
Your choice. Bring your own OpenRouter API key and you pay the provider directly — IceFold takes no margin. Or use our hosted credits on Pro and pay per token through us. Most creators start with BYOK.
What does the 7-day Pro trial include?
Everything Pro gives you: install Market nodes and flows, upload your own private Python nodes, publish to the Market. No credit card needed to start — when the trial ends you drop back to Free unless you subscribe.
What does 'multi-variant content' actually mean?
Most editors treat one video / podcast / newsletter as one document. IceFold treats it as a coordinate in a grid — e.g. (language × platform × duration). One node generates 12 outputs in parallel when you wire it correctly, and re-running one variant doesn't invalidate the others.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Pro is month-to-month via DodoPayments — cancel from Account → Billing and you stay Pro until the period ends, then drop to Free. We keep your data; nothing is deleted on downgrade.
